Founded by Elias Kounelles, the company reflects a lifelong passion for the art of metal fabrication and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality. The roots of this tradition trace back to the island of Rhodes, Greece, where the craft was passed down from one generation to the next. Elias's grandfather and father were among the island's most respected and experienced metalworkers, renowned for undertaking complex and highly specialized projects that demanded technical expertise, precision, and creativity.

One of the family's most notable achievements was the construction of KONTIKI, the iconic floating restaurant in Rhodes, which remains anchored in the island's harbor to this day. This landmark project stands as a testament to the craftsmanship, durability, and engineering excellence that define our heritage.

In 2011, Elias relocated to Cyprus, bringing with him years of hands-on experience, strong technical foundations, and a deep respect for quality workmanship. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design principles, he established Metallic Designs Cy with a clear vision: to create high-quality, reliable, and custom-made metal solutions tailored to the unique needs of every client.
